Responsibilities
1. Complete general tasks in support of the Maintenance department.
2. Process and recycle plant scrap material in an efficient manner.
3. Serve as the main point of contact between RTC and recycling vendors.
4. Complete various types of Maintenance audits.
5. Assist with truck run operations.
6. Assist with floor scrubbing operations.
7. Utilize an aerial working platform to complete Maintenance tasks.
8. Maintain the cleanliness of facility grounds.
9. Maintain the Shop in a clean and orderly manner in accordance with 5S standards.
10. Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.
11. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
1. 1+ years of related building maintenance experience.
2. Must be able to effectively communicate and have a proficiency in writing and speaking English.
3. Must be capable and willing to increase skill set.
4. Capable of completing various types of Maintenance audits.
5. Must be able to drive the company truck, personal vehicle, and have an approved DMV record.
6. Must be able to operate company floor scrubber.
7. Must be able to operate an aerial working platform and work at heights of 35+ feet.
8. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel and twist.
9. Capable of proficiently working with outside vendors and contractors.
10. Perform all duties in a safe manner with a high level of professionalism and quality.
11. Must be flexible with start and finish times and available to work overtime when needed.
*This is a Union Position and Pays $18/HR
